ENTRY LEVEL GROUNDS PERSON (FT-PT)
This role is physically demanding and calls for strong listening skills, the ability to follow directions and the initiative to take independent action once trained.
The successful candidate can expect an early start date and will be eligible for full-time hours and comprehensive medical benefits after the probation period.

ENTRY LEVEL CLIMBER (FT-PT)
This role will require a minimum of 1 year experience working with an urban tree crew as a climber on small to medium sized trees (under 30ft). Advanced proficiency with chipper, chainsaw operation as well as basic tree climbing/ropework is expected. Other desired skills and experience listed below:
• Light rigging proficiency in single and wide canopy applications
• SRT and/or DRT proficiency
• Capable of safely driving a chip truck with chipper in tow and comfortable backing up as well as safely stowing chipper in order to dump truck.
• Tree/ plant identification to ensure bylaw adherence and accuracy of work.
• Superior communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise with clients and coworkers.
EXPERIENCED GROUNDS PERSON (FT)
This role will require a minimum of 6 months experience working with an urban tree crew. Proficiency with chipper and chainsaw operation and maintenance is expected. Other desired skills and experience listed below:
Heavy rigging proficiency
Capable of safely driving a chip truck with chipper in tow and comfortable backing up as well as safely stowing chipper in order to dump truck.
Tree/ plant identification to ensure bylaw adherence and accuracy of work.
Superior communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise with clients and coworkers.
EXPERIENCED CLIMBER
(FT-PT)
This role will require a minimum of 2 years experience working with an urban tree crew as a climber on small to large canopies (up to 130ft) Advanced proficiency with chipper, chainsaw operation as well as advanced tree climbing/ropework and rigging is expected. Other desired skills and experience listed below:
• Heavy rigging proficiency
• SRT and DRT proficiency
• Wide canopy and single stem of any size confidence and proficiency
• Capable of safely driving a chip truck with chipper in tow and comfortable backing up as well as safely stowing chipper in order to dump truck.
• Tree/ plant identification to ensure bylaw adherence and accuracy of work.
• Superior communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise with clients and coworkers.
• Leadership skills and experience running and teaching a team
